[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Stupid computer question

I should know how to fix this, but I don't. My 15 month old daughter is a good one to reach up and hit random keys while my wife or I am on the computer. Whatever she did, out start menu is now a thin strip on the left side of the monitor instead of across the bottom. What to I need to do to put it back?

Left click on it and drag it to the bottom.

ETA you may need to right click on it and uncheck "lock the taskbar"

I think you can just click and hold on the center of it somewhere and drag it back if you are talking about windows. It will snap back to the bottom.

click on it and drag it back into place. If it's not wide enough to click, you should be able to hover your mouse over the line until it turns into an arrow, then drag it out to widen it back out.

Click and hold the button down on the task bar, and drag it to the bottom of the screen.
