Building new AR. Looking at BUIS on Del Tons website.. Lots of different options but the cheapest ones are Magpul. Now usually Magpul would not make me question but the low price makes me want to ask..

Any one use them?

A lot of people use them and like them.

Magpul is probably the only company that could get away with making a plastic BUIS.

If I were shopping for a BUIS, I would either buy the Magpul or the Troy.

My two current rifles have Troy, and the MBUS that I saw looked real nice and sturdy.

thats what i was thinking. It does say you cant use them on the gas block but they will be attached to a free float hand guard.

I have one and like it fine.  Not my first choice for a rifle I would use for defense. I just don't trust the plastic that much.  But as a plinker, it is good to go.

I've got Magpul BUI's on my go to gun and I've got no complaints about them. Good and sturdy for plastic as well.

I'm also thinking about the MBUS.  I actually had one ordered but canceled when it got backordered.  My question is are they low-profile enough to not affect my sight picture in my Eotech 512?

A lot of guys like the Magpul sight, but how can it be a Back Up Iron Sight when its made of plastic?

It should be the Magpul B.U.P.S.

But to me they don't feel plastic or cheap. I really like mine. They seem very durable.
