Is it possible to delete your post, once it's posted, or do you have to go through a moderator?

You can edit all of the content from a post but if it's a thread you've started that you want locked or deleted you'll need to contact a Moderator for the area that the thread is in.

Can you delete the post or do you just edit out the content?

No, a post itself is not deletable.

You can delete the content but if someone quoted it doesn't do anything for you

Change the titile to "mods - please delete" then hit the report button and request that it be deleted

Years ago you could delete the entire thread - not anymore.

Thanks guys.  I had posted to a 2 page thread and only afterwards realized 4 or 5 people had said the same thing.  No biggie.
