I have had three people tell me now that when they try to PM me it comes up as an invalid account.

I have a deal going on the EE that I dont want to lose to his please help!!!!

this is what i get

Invalid Account Name.

im sure it has to do with the periods in your screen name

make sure you tell them to EMAIL you. that would be the quickest workaround

It has worked for at least two years. THis is a recent devolopment.

I wonder if that is indeed what it is, to me its bizarre becasue its as if, it just stopped working.

Usernames don't allow "." characters, so it's being ignored when put through security filters.

If you email [email protected] they can change yer username and replace the "." characters with "-" or "_" for now. Support for other characters may be added in the future, but it's not really a high priority.
