How do you add a pic to a reply ?

You first have to upload your photos to a web based photo hosting site like www.printroom.com. There are other free services like hunting-pictures.com, ehomebook.com, yahoo.com and others but you'll have to do some investigating on those. Once the pic has been uploaded, open that pic at the website and right click on the photo, then click on properties, then highlight the url address shown and copy it (put the pointer in the highlighted area, right click & select copy). You will now need to paste that url in your next post (or temporarily in an open file if you write your ads offline) and then use the board code - http://www.ar15.com/forums/help/code.htm to set it up as a self loading image (img [ ] commands) or just a clickable link (url [ ]commands). If you need more help let me know.

You can also hook on a pic directly from another website. Get the full URL for that pic, ending in .jpg, usually, and enclose that URL with img and /img, both of which are in brackets. I can't demonstrate exactly because if I enter th correct codes, it'll try to pull up an image rather than show the code. But, do it this way: In the line I am about to show, replace the parenthesis {} with brackets [] and the form is then correct. {img}http://www-psych.nmsu.edu/regression/icons/med_xcit.gif{/img} Replace the { with [ and the } with ] and you get this: CJ
