I know this question is in the wrong forum but I've posted in others and have received no response. I have received IM's How do I reply? I have hit reply to the IMs but have yet to get responses back. I noticed that the recipients username appears in the message but not a email address. The message says that it has been sent? Can anybody help.

Thanks

If it says it has been sent, it's been delivered.  You can use the search option to find a topic they posted in, and click on the user info if you need to email them (or hit the email user button on the bottom). There really is no way to check if they opened your IM unless they chose to respond.

There's no email address because the IM system is not an email.  Even with the sites Email system you will not see the the recipients emails address unless they reply to you.  Some board members do have an email address listed in their profile but by default the site conceals the email that is linked to their account.

Yes there is.  Select the  Save Copy In Sent Folder option and once the IM is read the To and Subject in your Sent Messages will change from bold to normal text.

Definitely a handy feature at times.
