For some reason, my avatar reverted last night to my old one...

this is what I want to upload

and it seems to have taken last night, but has since reverted to my old one...

Any suggestions?

Most likely it's just a caching issue either on your PC or your ISP.

After changing an avatar use Control F5 to force your browser to redownload the entire page and not rely an anything it has stored in a cache.
