Rig 1, 1998 4Runner Limited, elocker, 4.88s, bilstin and OME suspension, SPC UCAs, Amazon lightbar, 255/80R17s, Tundra brakes, fresh top end and timing set, and it still gets 17mpg. I love this thing, and I have less into it than some of the jeep lifts cost.

Rig two, 1986 efi and ifs. She's gone places bone stock and gutless a lot of jeeps wont go, some of them even driven by guys who know how to use 4wd

Oh she's gotten dirty. It's got about 600 miles on it, those tires and wheels are brand new tho. I put those on in late November and they only got a few hundred yards on them. Most trails are closed till spring now so I'm waiting on the lakes to freeze

A Hyundai Elantra. He came out of that street in front of my Runner, hit me square amidships on the driver side, and spun/pushed me almost all the way around.

I drove it home. He left on a flatbed, but there’s something twisted on my back axle.

Tell me more about Titan swapping a Frontier. I've heard of it, but as a Toyota guy I don't know exactly what all is involved.

Titan upper and lower control arms and inner/outer tie rod ends. Widens track 6”, lift varies but 4” is typical, and more than doubles travel. You can run stock Frontier diff if you run extended halfshafts or you can swap in the Titan M205 diff (MUCH stronger and built by Dana) and run Titan halfshafts.  Some folks run Tundra struts with custom top hats, Radflo and Nisstec (Elka) make custom coil overs specific to the Titan swap.  Extended brake lines necessary.

I’m running stock Titan lowers with SPC uppers.

And all that shit bolts in? Must be nice haha. I’d love to be able to easily swap a tundra front diff into my 4Runner.

Woohoo! I get to post in this thread twice!

I still have my beloved FJ, but I picked up this 2013 JKUR that's just dripping with high end mods. I couldn't say no.

I've had it out once and I was very impressed. It's like wheeling on cheat mode vs my FJ.

Just caught this,

It's TS down to the hubs, has an M205 regeared to 4.10 and a 2" body lift with a 3" suspension lift, running 35's and 650# nisstec coilovers in the front, and 700# Alcans in the rear, Dirt king front lowers, Spc Upper CA's, shrock bumpers/skids,

Everything else is just added weight.

Sick. My CCLB has the 205 and e-locked 226 swapped in, geared to 3.73 on 33s. Nisstecs and SPC UCAs up front and ADO spring pack, 5125s, and drop shackle back. Sitting at about 4”. Shrock front and rear bumpers.  If you ever head north a state shoot me a message.

Thanks dude, it's a cookie cutter 3rd gen but it's pretty well sorted for a small tire rig. I'm itching for something more capable though. Your tacoma is pretty rad.

I’d daily that 4R any day. I’m might start looking for a 3rd Gen for a daily driver.

Thanks. It’s really come together. Once I get a new daily. I’m going 37” and Marlin RCLT.

Yeah man, 3rd gen 4Runner is best gen 4Runner. I bought it from my sister, who's had it since 2003, to be a woods toy but other than being (waaay) slower than my Sierra it's better than the truck in every way so it's turned into my DD and it's in great shape. It has a Maaco paint job that I hate, but at least pinstripes don't bother me a bit. I've come pretty close to significant body damage enough times that I really need to find something I don't feel bad about ruining.

RCLT is super cool. I wish there was a steering rack upgrade like that for 3rd gen 4Rs/1st gen Tacomas.
