If it survives the next 1.5 hours I'll have printed a FTN5 Rimfire Flow suppressor. One thing I can say is dialing in Polymaker PA6-CF has been a challenge, but I may have figured out the trick with it at least with my QIDI Plus 4. I think the reason my previous attempts failed is it's an insulated printer and my chamber temps even when leaving it open are higher than the bed temp if only printing at 40-50C bed. Mine has a chamber heater, but it only works if bed temp is 70C or higher. I can set my chamber temp to 65C, but it usually will maintain higher than that. Ignore the recommended bed and chamber temps. I think the key is keeping the chamber temp and bed temp roughly the same. I've been running 75 bed temp with about 69-71C chamber temp. I also have Magigoo PA applied to the PEI sheet. Update: Finally a successful print.

Finally got around to trying abrasive filaments with some PETG-CF for this Pi 5 enclosure. Probably not necessary but it came out really nice    I intended to get another Pi but damn they got expensive. I guess the last slot will be open for a while. Makerworld link |

It's a 22LR suppressor but the flow model which makes it kinda huge for a rimfire suppressor, but it might have more volume than my SilencerCo Spectre II. After this I printed an FTN6 Rimfire and it's very close to the same size as my Spectre II. Since I had to use up this roll of PA6-CF I also printed a boosted FTN9mm suppressor. Now I got to get all the hardware I need. I have to get some thread adapters to screw into the end of the suppressor and JB weld them in. After that they just screw onto the 1/2"x28 threads on my barrel. For the 9mm you buy a KAW KVP Gen 2 Piston and a spring from McMaster and some various M3 hardware. |

Needed to replace a tag bracket & light for one of the trailers (pop rivets failed). Printed in ASA & secured with M5 screws. M3 screws on light self cut threads into the plastic, but added a nut on one as insurance. Bracket mount is asymmetric away from deck. Cable wrap on the wires for a bit of protection after crimping the new wires to old. Attached File Attached File |

Just had a bath remodel done that replaced the jetted tub with a walk in shower. Nice job, but I wanted a way to temporarily hang the hand shower by the fold down seat. Free handed a design & printed in PCTG. May redo it later, but it looks like it should do the job. Another set of these.... This is a stackable rack to hold your suppressors. I designed them, so feel free to yell at me for my stupid design choices. stupid simple design. Easy to print and stackable I recommend a .6mm nozzle and you can knock these out pretty quick Bonus tip, use high speed, filament like high speed petg CAD .step files ARE included for both models. Finished up printing the parts for a Hexa-Mini (Thanks for the source @-Obsessed- !). Printed in ABS (Siraya Tech ABS HT HF). I did do a size label on the traverse motion tracks in white. This was my very first attempt at 3D printing. I set my printer up Saturday morning (Bambu X2D) and had it running through the weekend. Eight desiccant cups/hygrometer holders for dry boxes, a toolkit, a bag handle for my wife, scraper for the bed, and ghostface (my first print). I’m proud of how it all turned out. I’m going to make desiccant boxes for the AMS 2 Pro but still waiting on a certain color of PETG. Everything I did this weekend was PLA. Attached File |

Grandson has a cart he loves to push around, it came with a little cup holder that always fell off and wasn't big enough to actually hold a real cup. I designed a real cup holder that will hold any of his cups and firmly clips onto the cart. Since I was worried about durability, I printed it out of ASA....you can pick the cart up by holding just the side of the cup holder. It's held up to a couple weeks of everything a 15 month old can throw at it.

Making a fan shroud for an air to air heat exchanger for my shop air compressor. This should cool the compressed air enough to get the inline water separators to do their job. Probably use PETG-CF and print it solid for the final part.

Here is something that came together pretty fast, just finished up the final print dimensions and my H2s bit the dust right after so its in for repair. Pushed it really hard the past 6 months running nearly 24/7. Will most likely buy more printers this coming week to offset repair time. Its a conversion stock for a Mauser dated 1909 and converted to 7.62*39 using Cz527 mags. The commie scope is attached by a side mount scope mount-attached to the stock, not ideal but better than nothing if you dont want to drill and tap the original receiver. I have found the printed scope mount base is better than the mass produced metal ones coming from POSP or whoever-we still see variances but can dial that in.

Fielded version of my air to air fan shroud for my air compressor on the Voron now. Atomic PETG-CF, 0.6 nozzle, 6 perimeters. Then I designed up a HEPA filter housing for my voron that will also take the air and blow it onto the bed heater for Voron approved chamber heating and HEPA (if ping ping is to be trusted) filtration. Dual high flow, high static 5015 blowers, I'll have 2 modules (room for 4). Even with a single cheap 5015 for mockup I had on hand, it moves a good amount of air. I'll have them on PWM for airflow control, not just bang-bang. I'll also be adding these filter modules to my MK3.5 enclosure, along with a nevermore (or maybe I make a combined filter, yeah, probably do that).

Good enough is never good enough I guess. Modified my simple filter to add a bed of nevermore carbon, made it modular for different mounting options, options for carbon or not, different heights, ducting is a separate part so it can change. I'll be posting it up once done. Cutaway of the current, hopefully final, version.
