This guy has either figured it all out, or has connected way too many dots in the wrong direction.

The one thing, which seems minor, but it crucial.  Why human slave labor?  Technology and tools are far more capable than naked humans with rudimentary tools.

But past that,  damn, this is a heavy episode and really puts together a TOE on this whole topic.

ETA; the guy is a satanist which is a hell of a twist.

I know it's an extremely hot topic with Christians, but the Church of Satanism has "commandments" which are essentially just basic human decency.  "Don't hurt people.  Don't force your views on others.  Always seek truth." etc.

Satanists see "the devil" as a bringer of knowledge to beings that were kept ignorant and easily manipulated.  If you take it out of the Judeo Christian context of "God is good, Satan is evil", you kinda do start to root for the bad guy.

Basically, God created man to worship him and he wanted blind obedience in exchange for reward.  Satan came along and said "hey, you don't have to do this".  Free will won out and the rest is history, according to the Bible.  Take out the supernatural stuff and it tells a different story.

.. huh that I didn't know. I thought he was 'just' a philosopher.

That being the case though, it's over for me - and not because I am overly religious (I am not, but I am overly spiritual).

I consider satanists a subcultural trait that manifests credulity and ignorance even in the case of supposedly overly educated individuals such as this one.

Education doesn't really mean so much if the heart and the consciousness aren't on par.

I don’t mind hearing the ideas an opinions of the man. But he should have disclosed it early in the conversation.  His whole argument and ideas are based on his assumptions that good and evil, as generally accepted, are reverse.  To use my Babylon 5 example, he is Mr. Morden.

Now, I enjoyed his talk. (Though dislike him)  He literally played devil’s advocate.  His ideas on non linear timelines are pretty good, as well as the talk on the moon. The mind/body/psi elements are also interesting.

But as with everything, grain of salt, and he has an agenda/ideology he is pushing and selling books.

Their official stances seem quite reasonable. The practice can possibly be far different, just as cults and abuses happen in any organization.  I personally feel that Satanists have an air of a “free pass” for abhorrent acts more than any other. “The devil made me do it!” Is a long time refrain for acts of horror.

The Bible is full of stories and parables of men seeking knowledge and being punished for it.  I’ve always taken it as a rebuke of arrogance and self importance.  Not that God punishes knowledge, but knowledge in search of defiance, AKA to become God-Like.

Yeah but that's a slippery slope that's been interpreted to mean things like "if you pursue scientific knowledge, you're a heretic".

Every religion has been used as a justification for horrific acts.  Some version of "God" is on both sides of nearly every bloody conflict in human history.  To be clear, I am not anti-religion, I'm just anti-asshole.  "Don't be an asshole" is my one and only commandment, the rest is negotiable.

I saw the intro of latest episode and was all in - several of my fruitless academic pursuits were finally relevant again.

The Descartes/Jesuit thing was an assertion without any proof. And there isn't. His ideas were contrary to the Jesuits and they gave him the business for it. That set off the BS meter.  Too many book mentions. Still it was a good listen. Plague stuff was interesting, but raises a lot of questions he didn't answer. Fun ride.

I can certainly understand the idea and point of view. And one of the great things about Arfcom, especially here in this forum, is getting to discuss and pick apart all ideas.

There is an ongoing idea in most cultures of a teacher or teachers that bring knowledge to mankind, that is against God’s wishes.  God retaliates for this and we have mass extinction stories as the consequences.

Framing it as obedience vs freedom makes most westerners, especially Americans, take want to take the “freedom” stance and rebel against authority or order.  That view would see the “devil” as a liberator, or ultimate libertarian.

Conversely, many religious people also view blind obedience as a primary requirement for worship.

From my reading of the whole bible (NIV) at age 44, and my acceptance of Christianity, which I came to at 16yo, not being raised religious, I have a slightly different take.

Also, I’ve been around organized religion, my former FIL was a PhD in theology and high member of the Methodist Church. I got to see the business side.  Same with watching a non denominational small church turn into a mega church with a “celebrity” preacher grow from a small room of congregants in a few years.  I’ve worked around a Catholic church as well.  Add in that I work in Government, institutional structures, politics, power, and community building are fairly natural and plain for me to see.

So, my view is that God is pure. The creation of life, from angels to fish to people, are not about obedience, but companionship with purity. Worship, faith, communion, purification, rebirth. It’s about purity, the opposite of sin, or corruption.  The Angels had a rebellion and with that sin, that corruption, it spread to God’s other favored and pure creation, mankind.

God is the antithesis of corruption. Therefore worship of God makes you anathema to corruption.  We just happen to be stuck in a corrupted world, shared with corrupted people, and worse, haunted by corrupted NHI that influence mankind.

The proposed “teacher” for Satanists, or Azazel the fallen angel, taught men to make metal weapons, and to war.  (Or Ares, Mars, Odin, Huītzilōpōchtli, etc.) And those instruction keeps compounding to newer weapons, means of making war, encouraging war, and now we can murder millions or billions.  The sin, the corruption, the knowledge applied by the corrupt, lead to death and suffering.

Right on.  To be clear, I don't agree with Satanists.  I have a view of things that doesn't align with any organized religion.

I did all 12 years at a Christian school and I'm fascinated by the evolution of religion, having researched the old religions, myth/lore, etc that became the "precursors" of Judeo-Christian dogma.  Looking at it all from an unbiased viewpoint brings a lot of "ah hah" moments.

Throughout human history, we've been trying to figure out what the "something more" is and we've come up with some very interesting and sometimes batshit ways to explain the unexplainable.

Their official stances seem quite reasonable. The practice can possibly be far different, just as cults and abuses happen in any organization.  I personally feel that Satanists have an air of a "free pass" for abhorrent acts more than any other. "The devil made me do it!" Is a long time refrain for acts of horror.

The Bible is full of stories and parables of men seeking knowledge and being punished for it.  I've always taken it as a rebuke of arrogance and self importance.

Combine "Don't be an asshole" with the Boondock Saints laws and "Don't force your beliefs on strangers" would combine and the world would be a decent place, as sq40 stated, I just thought how to fill that last 10%.

The person who complains most, and is the most critical of others has the most to hide.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Jesse has been on a roll lately - this episode has it all:

What if the war never ended…just changed shape?

Jorjani returns to unravel one of the most haunting hypotheses in modern history: that the remnants of the Third Reich didn’t vanish in 1945 but evolved, embedding themselves into the hidden machinery of American power, science, and myth. From Antarctica’s frozen ruins to the Skoda Works black projects, Jorjani explores how occult philosophy, Nazi engineering, and postwar intelligence networks may have seeded the foundations of the modern deep state.

Jorjani is a really good listen, he taught comparative religion classes so he arrived at his beliefs at least well deliberated. And technically, he's a Promethean idealist and not a Satanist - though some comparisons can be made. I could listen to that guy talk for a long time, I'm really impressed how he strings ideas together and no I don't agree with everything he says obviously.

Today's AA episode:

Swedish Treasure Hunter Dennis Asberg May Have Found a 60 Meter UFO on the Baltic Seafloor (With electromagnetic Anomalies, Right Angles, Corridors And It’s Not Attached To The Seabed Floor Like a Normal Geological Formation!) World-class Swedish wreck diver Dennis Åsberg, co-founder of Ocean X, reveals 15 years of data from the Baltic Sea Anomaly–a 60 meter disc-shaped structure at 90 meters depth producing GPS failures, electromagnetic interference, perfect right-angle geometry, and a new 2025 sub-bottom profile suggesting the object is detached from the seabed. His team has retrieved biological material, burned debris, basalt (in a region where it shouldn’t exist), and recorded temperature anomalies approaching 0°C directly over the structure.
Åsberg, who has recovered Tsarist submarines, 1600s cognac shipments, and dozens of major wrecks, says this is the most anomalous discovery of his career.

The similarities to whatever's in the mesa on Skinwalker Ranch are notable:

-Electronic equipment malfunctions near it.
-Composed of a material so hard, they couldn't take a sample of it using a hammer and chisel.
-Multiple anomalies occur around the object.
-NATO showed up to watch when it's investigated.
Everything posted above is factual. Maybe.

Another long, wild ride. Peter Levenda as guest. More Prometheus talk, with an interesting origin. Spoiler: guy dodged the draft for Vietnam.

Historian of the CIA blows the lid on its direct interactions with non-human intelligence. Also shows direct links between Lee Harvey Oswald and FBI agents like Guy Bannister involved in original UFO intelligence, the X files. And reveals covert American Intelligence Activity linked to the American Orthodox Catholic Church. Tom Delonge’s coauthor of Sekret Machines, Peter Levenda, exposes a buried through-line connecting the Kennedy assassination, early UFO crashes, deep state intelligence ops, and elite occult networks operating inside American power structures. His research connects intelligence agencies, secret wars, ritual activity, and suppressed UFO incidents into a single operational shadow history. The conclusion: reality is more “scripted” than we think.

This was one of my favorite interviews. Radar engineer Filippo Biondi just dropped the most explosive finding ever reported at Giza: eight clearly man-made, tube-like structures plunging more than a kilometer beneath the Khafre Pyramid and ending in huge 80-meter chambers. The structures are obviously artificially engineered and the synthetic aperture radar Doppler tomography technique he used has precedent in accurately predicting underground structures (in both commercial and defense use cases). The Egyptian ministry of culture is extremely afraid this finding might rewrite their history.

I grew up in Rome, Italy - Italian was my first language (thank the maker, English became rushing in as a close second right away when I was around 3 years old, since I had been born in the US and my parents cared immensely about my upbringing in Italy - I got to study English from the get go, which was a rarity in 1970s Italy) and *I* had a hard time following Filippo (also my name).

Whew. Hard - I strongly suggest to any and all foreigners to study hard the English language - as hard as they can - nothing can get divulged properly without English today.

This being said, interesting - but the delivery hindered my perception of the whole thing, frankly. I may be negatively charged (lol)

ETA - mandatory hand language sign
ETA II, I commend Jesse immensely for pursuing this, regardless of potential difficulties with the delivery (he knew it would happen and still went after it... bravo)

This. GPR doesn't look anything even remotely like what they're presenting. The original scans look like every other GPR scan anyone has ever seen, i.e. a bunch of wavy colored lines that represent density differences.

Just ask the Lagina brothers over on Oak Island.

For the naysayers, decide for yourself. Here he is demonstrating SAR @1h45m on Gran Sasso laboratory at 1400 meters deep. Most of us will need to turn on English subtitles . Then he shows the Mosul Dam, and then San Gottardo tunnel at a depth of 2300 meters

What *I* can say is, I couldn't wait to prove it all. I know Egypt is against it all (i.e., allowing for any digging to proof, further excavating here and there - they're completely blocked, closed and not even maintaining what they have; typical retrograde subculture) but if I were a researcher I'd try to find funds to go on location and by any means possible, try and find out more - on location.

I think maybe the simplest thing to do is use a drone at night to drop off a pair of bolt cutters at a strategic place to open the gates to some of the tunnels already believed to lead under the pyramids.  The guards appear to be pretty easy to sneak around.  I think one of the better known podcasters attempted to do this through the cave of the birds thing but I never heard why he didn't make it.

When I was there in 2016, the guards were a joke. They're all on the take, and for enough baksheesh, I'm sure you could get yourself into just about anywhere you wanted. Of course, they'd probably then turn you into the real authorities for a reward, and double-dip.

Don't think any of us, or those researchers, would enjoy getting arrested by the military or sent to an Egyptian prison.

I have never been there, never left or even wanted to ever leave US soil, but that is one place that if I ever get my health straightened back out is one place I'd like to visit.  My interest in it didn't even start until a little over a year ago when I started the exciting threads over in general.  I am still of the possible opinion it wasn't built by humans, at least not humans like us and is much much much older than is thought.  The age part I think we will never really know.
ETA and I want them to dig up the supposed 40ft TicTac that is underground there  under the plateau.  That there would really be disclosure!

If you ever do decide to go, the company I went with was called Archaeological Paths, out of Poland (I think). It was phenomenal. The first week we spent at the Mena House in Cairo (an old palace converted to a super-nice hotel). Up early for a delicious breakfast, then off to a site or museum somewhere, then lunch at a local place in Cairo, then off to another site/museum, then back to the hotel for dinner, lectures, etc. The second week we were doing the same thing on one of the cruise boats up and down the Nile from Luxor to Aswan. Plus a bus ride in a military convoy down almost to the border with Sudan to see Abu Simbel.

We hit all the highlights. I crawled into the Great Pyramid and the Red Pyramid (and I've read the Bent Pyramid is open now too), ran my hands along the Sphinx, wandered in tombs in the VotK, went to Luxor, Karnak, Edfu, and a dozen other places, plus a day exploring Cairo, going to the National Museum (the old one...the new one is open now), etc. etc. etc. Trip of a lifetime for a former archaeologist with a serious interest in Egyptology. Archaeological Paths has some form of serious "in" with the government (likely just through lots of money), so most of the time it was just our group at a site, often outside of normal hours. Very cool.

They're still running tours, have added new stuff over the years, and usually go in November and February when it's not surface-of-the-sun hot.

I'd go again, when things settle back down to the normal dull roar in the ME for a while.

ETA: Here is their site. They go other places too. And take really good care of you. It's definitely the way to take a vacation. I plan on doing more stuff like this in the future. Trying to plan everything myself gets tiresome, but it was my default until I did this and got spoiled.
