Worried the handle might be a bit big but will need to see finished. |

I made some progress today Attached File I also picked up a kiln this weekend from Facebook marketplace. I looked up the specs online before I contacted the guy and it hits a couple hundred degrees higher than I need for all the fancy steels and the dimensions didn't seem too big. I ended up talking to the guy on the phone and he negotiated himself down about 60% without me saying anything about the price, so I pretty much had to go get it. Attached File That's an 8" chefs knife in there, the biggest I can fit in my current kiln. It's 16"x16"x11" tall inside. Lol |

Lol I either always or never use liners when I make the jade/green handles, depending on how you look at it. They're 1/8" thick toxic green G10 with 1/8" thick jade G10 on the outside, so it's really thick green liners behind the jade, if you want to look at it that way, or no liners behind the green scales. Attached File I can do black G10 pins and a black G10 lanyard tube. |

Some rough shaping.... Attached File . The handles will have to be finished around the edges and I like to have them 90+% finished on the sides as well on knives that are going to be parkerized, otherwise there's risk of bumping the finished blade against the belt if I wait to shape them until the scales are glued on. |
