I cant even buy Nitro vehicles or fuel at hobby shops around here. Its all electric, and courses are just rock crawling now, we used to have a few dirt, carpet, and even paved road courses, but they have all gone. |

Never really been a car guy but the local mall has a track and races a bunch of different classes indoor. Picked up a Mini Z a couple of days ago and ran it yesterday... holy crap it's fun. Attached File |

I have a DSLR backpack coming to turn into a track bag. I think all of the classes I want to enter will fit in one as well so that should be cool. |

Getting into the final stages of installing all the radio gear in my trainer. These new fangled computer radios have me searching for the owners manual so I can figure out flap channel and ignition kill channel. Attached File |

What I mean is can you stop the car and turn the camera to look left or right without having to turn the car the way you want to look? Thinking about one of these setups for my 1/5th scale cars. |

It's literally the same as you sitting in your car at a stoplight looking around. It's a module with gyros attached to my goggles. I just move my head. It's wild. I drove around a park for 38 minutes and never had to re-zero it unless I had to take off my goggles to talk to someone. Even when you have to re-zero it, it's just a long press of a button on the module. Takes my finger longer to find the button than it does to re-zero. ETA: You can also design/print your own gimbal for a particular application if you want. Also, for around $140 extra, you can get a 3 axis gimbal which offers live stabilization. So great for crawling around off road. This one gets a little bouncy when you start going fast. For a crawler it would be fine I'd think. |

It has the BL-2s set up in it. It is pretty light so it goes pretty good. I think they are the coolest looking RC to come out in a long time. Got me wondering how fast it is so I charged up the battery and my GNSS to see. I got a flat 30mph. |

I was just looking for updated 1/10 RC truck bodies for my old TMaxx and I stumbled onto this FMS which just so happens to match almost perfectly to my actual Sierra... FMS Sierra It's on its way now, never had or got into the RC Crawler scene. Nitro and offload were my jam. Still need to knock the dust off the old Tmaxx and all the money I sunk into Supermaxx parts. Have an even older 1994 Traxxas Nitro Hawk that I restored and have only run a few times since. |
