I'm pretty sure this is one of the last bottles sold, based on when I ordered it and when it was listed as sold out, but it's #201 of 1061. For those of you not familiar, this is the first release of TJ Gamble's/Brewzle's bourbon line. 100% sourced at this time. Three barrels of Old Dominick low rye, three barrels of Old Dominick high rye and two barrels from a closed distillery he bought. Age = 6 years. Proof = 123. He and at least one other reviewer were fairly critical of it upon opening and stated that it got much better with a little time and/or a splash of water. It tastes pretty good to me, neat, a few seconds after opening the bottle. Attached File |

Stopped off to pick up a handle of WSR. Got it for a great price but ended up overpaying for a 750 ml of 107OWA that was on the back shelf. Hadn't seen it on a shelf in Oklahoma in a coon's age. They had W12 too but way too much over retail bumping up into secondary range.

Local store had an allocated release. I'm not one for standing in lines but three hours after open I was still able to grab a store pick Blantons and an ER.

Local allocation raffle yesterday. Everyone had their number called twice, and the ER12 and WFP were leftovers, so snagged them too. MSRP on everything but the J10, which was just slightly over. Store also had OWA for $58 and Special Reserve for $30 on the shelf. Full case of CYPB at MSRP in the raffle. BT products seem to be everywhere in CO the last few months.

With all the new bottles coming home, I've had to add some whiskey organization. Amazon tiered shelf for the opens in the office, with Stagg, A107, BT and WT101 Rye in the kitchen for easy access. Cabinet and other bunker are now all sealed bottles. Going to need to have more parties to start moving things through.

Someone mentioned Shanky's Whip so I stopped to get a bottle out of curiosity. Saw this for $29. I like Penelope so..... Expectations were low, but makes a really nice no fuss OF. Sure they're super simple but it's a nice change of pace from mine. Recommend.

Picked up a spare. Now I have three on the shelf and one open. I need to find a CYPB and SiB before they disappear again. Should be an OWA store pick dropping soon. The RE was an "insider" drop for email subscribers. I can't wait to try it.
