| Omega Chrono watch works fine except the Chrono feature does not work. When you press the start button nothing happens. The reset button also does nothing since the start button of course has not started. Any ideas as to what might be occurring. Does the Chrono feature require a battery? This is an auto watch. |

The chrono module is powered by the main movement. No battery needed. What you describe can be caused by improper manipulation of the chrono pushers. The chrono must be stopped before attempting to re-set the chrono. A trip to a watchmaker familiar with mechanical chronos is the only way to know what happened to the chrono function. Might be a relatively simple fix, might not. |
