Is this Navitimer legit?  $1300 at a local shop.  Needs a couple links to make it fit too.  Says "Chronograph" under the Breitling.

I'm by no means a Breitling expert, but I'm not familiar with a Breitling chrono that has a subdial / chrono register that counts to 10.

That case back looks fake as shit to me.

A Google search didn't turn up any Navitimers with "chronograph" on the dial, it looks like they always have "Navitimer" on the dial .  Also, it looks like they almost ran out of room when placing "Breitling" on the bracelet.

I've never owned a Breitling, but I'm going with fake.

Thanx folks.  It did seem off to me.  I left it where it was.  I made the right choice.

Yeah that does look a little iffy...

FYI, I don't know how authoritative the source is, but http://www.breitlingsource.com/breitling_model_categories.shtml seems to have a lot of info on Breitlings...

IIRC, you can call Brietling with the case back number and check.
That said, there is a distinct lack of AR coating on the crystal which should be very visible under those fluorescent lights...

...dead giveaway
