I've never collected them but have ended up with some through the years. Little Orphan Annie, Zorro, Cinderella, a couple of different Mickey Mouse, Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, and a bunch I'm forgetting right now. There are some character watches that bring BIG money. Unfortunately not any of the ones I own...

I love Mickey Mouse watches, and would love to have one with a reliable movement. My best one loses minutes a day, and not consistently. You have to remember that they were designed for children for the most part, although they should do better than "minutes" a day. If you want a really accurate one and don't care that it's modern, Lorus made quartz Mickeys several years ago. I think they still do, you can look and see if you're interested. |

I'm considering getting one of the reproduction Ingersoll Mickey Mouse watches. The Ingersoll was the first MM watch. These reproductions are suposed to be very nice. |

I have a similarly priced and styled watch (not to your linked one, but to other "Ingersolls" on Amazon) from the Parks, also labeled Japanese movement - it's the one that doesn't tell time well. I'd love to bite if I knew those would be better. I have a less classic Mickey Mouse Skagen form the parks - I wish a company like that would make the classic moving hands style. |

The "Seconds hand" is replaced with a clear plastic disc. The White SUV and police cars chase each other around the dial. http://i59.tinypic.com/keyp93.jpg That is great. Who made it? |
