G-Shock Mudman (no solar, no atomic)

The best and toughest watch I've ever worn.

Fail.  How do you wear that?

On a cord around my neck.

ETA:

On a serious note, a nice watch would be awesome but I just can't justify the money on one.  I don't wear dress clothes often enough and it'd look out of place with my every day wear.  Maybe if I ever get a job that requires a suit (or a dress code), but I don't see that happening soon.  My job market is pretty laid back.

Um yeah. The hair style kind of suggests that.

The tech field rocks.

I did find my Citizen watch that my grandparents gave me for graduation.  I don't know what model it is, but the battery is dead.  Something I can change on my own or do I need professional help?

Depends on the watch and if you can remove the back.  Most watch places will replace the battery and gasket and do a pressure test for around $30. I used to rock a mohawk a long time ago.

Rolex Explorer today. But this is the weekend to switch out watches for the next month or so. I'm thinking of wearing my Bruno Soehnle watch that I bought in Hamburg about 10 years ago. I love the watch and it has the added benefit of "good luck finding one here" if a watch snob notices it.

Cause they think that makes them look more sophisticated and tech savvy than the rest of us. Probably the same ones that chime in with the 10mm as their choice when discussing 9mm vs 45.

Thanks - it's a "Germasian" (Asian parts but put together in Germany) automatic that is supposedly 200m water resistant.  It also serves as a handy CQ weapon .  How could I pass on a watch called The Panzer

And actually, your watch face is small compared to a few here  I know it's the shit today but some are a little over board.

BTW, I hope you took no offense as it was in fun and sometimes inflection is lost on line

james bond up in this bitch with burglar tools!

I do love that rake/tension wrench combo.

Also, and the reason im posting here, what knife is that and where did you get it? Looks really intriguing.

The "field expedient entry toolset" is the Bogota Titan set from www.serepick.com. I'm getting Master locks open pretty quickly after just a couple of days messing around with them, getting the feel for the right amount of pressure on the tension wrench.

Two knives in that pic: Benchmade Elishewitz Stryker (folder) and the Spyderco Bob Lum Tanto (fixed blade) in a www.survivalsheath.com sheath. I've had both knives a long time, around a decade, and don't remember where they came from.

I swear I am beginning to think we're related.

Variations of all those! Emerson folder, custom fixed blade, did carry a P7 til my woman absconded with it, full pick set, and I prefer the smoothie flavored tums.
