Bluetooth on the Predator, just upload it wirelessly to the laptop.

Good job on surviving the introductory period.    Now you're just about ready to start learning to dive.

Predator... you're dating yourself. Didn't the Petrel replace that about 12 months or so ago?

I get pretty comforting comments from people I dive with. Like "You look a lot better than some of the DMs and Instructors we've seen."

Barf!!!

I never had so many problems with a log program as I did trying to get DM4 to work. Now I use MacDive and Subsurface to run concurrent logs and haven't been happier.

Weird. Never had any issues with it. There are a few little things I don't like about it, but for the most part it does the job.

Broke 130 dives the other day.

I think my longest dive so far has been 2.5, maybe 3 hours.  I can't remember.

It was a nice, leisurely dive in Peacock 1.  After we returned to the cavern zone I still had 1600 psi.  We re-calculated for 1/4th's as turn pressure and went into Peacock 2 for a quick dive.

My Predator is a damn brick and it was much more expensive than Petrels are now  I'll pull a few dives from the log when I get home.

Deepest. I lost the data for my longest but it was about five hours in Ginnie.

Man, I wish I was somewhere warm to dive. In VA the closest is a cold quarry with nothing to look at (Millbrook). Color me jealous...

True. Just need to meet up with good dive partners or join my shop when it goes. Is the temp decent there now or just during the summer?

Hopefully, teaching open water dives this weekend if the waves stay down. water is around 77F right now. I will have to wear my 3mm full with a beanie.

Uhhhh....

In the summer there are still 2 thermoclines.  This year when it was 82-84 on the surface, at the Blackhawk (35 ft) it was 72 and at the plane (60) it was around 55.

Last time I was there was first week of October.  Surface was low 70s.  Thermoclines about what they were in summer.

I will be diving inside Rudee inlet on Sunday......
