Never used one before.

Primary purpose I need it for is juicing fruit with as absolute little pulp as possible. For wine making.

Typically up to 25 lb of fruit per batch. Berries and all types of fruits, tomato etc.

I've been squeezing a lot of stuff through mesh bags by hand. I'm over it.

My sister in law would love using it for soups, salsas, baby food, chunkier stuff, but juicing is what I'm primarily interested in doing with it.

So I'm looking on Amazon. Any recommendations?
Not looking to spend over 100 bucks tops. Less would be better.

Thanks for any help.

I saw some on Amazon from 50 to 100 bucks. I'm not above hand turning a crank if I could find something cheap that would do the job well.

I forget what brand mine is but I got it from Amazon and I'm happy with it.

IMHO, absolutely look at the reviews. I started out with one from my local farm & home store and it SUCKED. Screens weren't stainless so they rusted almost as soon as they hit water during cleanup. It leaked all over... and it didn't work that well. I took it back, jumped on amazon and found one for the same price (~$50) that had great reviews. I bought it, and I'm happy. That being said, it is hand-crank. It would be nice to motorize it but that's at the bottom of my list...
