Had a GREAT Order of the Temple last night. I don't usually make a post like this but, we had 5 candidates and after it was over, 3 were kinda short on words and the other 2 were beside themselves with what they experienced. The York Rite is some powerful stuff. |
My OOT was done during the annual inspection. I was blown away by it. When I got home and the wife asked me how it went, I said "you can call me Sir Knight". she said, "As long as you remember I'm Grand Empress of the universe, now put out the garbage" She blew the whole thing for me

How do you do the Order of the Temple on 5 candidates? We don't allow that. If we do multiples they do it all together with the exception of the above portions. We've done two, but very rarely. IMO, it cheapens it. We did two together last year. When they later saw it done with just one candidate they both stated they wished they had theirs alone. Red Cross and Malta, no biggie. But the OoT should be just one guy. |
