Or maybe stick with blue lodge, since it seems everyone is having issues filling chairs and getting buy in.

Get comfortable with the lessons in the EA, FC and MM degrees. Be active in Blue Lodge first and foremost.

Then join York Rite.

okay, i know a way to solve the scottish vs york argument.

join both!

i know a few who've done it. they both have their benefits to your journey.

when YOU feel you are ready, you take that step. whichever you dcide, you will be choosing wisely.

Congrats!

I had a long talk with one of PMs about the different appended bodies. My conclusion is I am going to wait until I have gone through the chair line. After that I'll see if I have enough time to devote to an appended body. There is plenty to do in the Blue Lodge and that will always be number one for me.
