So I sent my check off for my dues, it took forever to get cashed.  It cleared the bank 2/10.  I still haven't gotten my card.  I've called, left messages, sent emails.  I work on nights of stated meeting, and moved about 1.5 hours away from my home lodge, hence the reason I don't go there anymore.  I've been going to a lodge much closer, and have been going without an active dues card.  I'm worried about being suspended now, even though the check was cashed, and all was apparently well.  They're not returning emails, or phone calls, is there any other step to take besides just trying to take off work and drive out there?  With would be a royal PITA.

ETA:  Anyone have any experience with being unafiliated in TX?  My law book is in my truck, but I remembered reading something reference being an unafiliated mason, otherwise just not having a home lodge, etc.  My home lodge has been getting slower and slower at responding/dealing with things, and there has been speculation regarding mishandling of funds, etc.  Just wondering if anyone has any experience taking this route.

It's possible something's happened to the Secretary.  Try to contact one the Wardens or the Master.  If that doesn't work call the District Deputy or Grand Secretary.

I was afraid of that, but remembered, the way the email was set up, it was forwarded to other officers email when I was JW.  However, that possibly has changed.  I will attempt to contact others.

I FINALLY got in contact with my secretary.  It was a "slight overlook" of my check and mailing out the dues card.  I've got more to say, but won't, belittlement and such of a brother and lodge, but there's more.  It's really really frustrating.  I've sent an email to the Grand Lodge, and they've already started contacting the lodge, and now they're mad at me for contacting the GL reference me not getting my dues card 2 months after the check was cashed, and then not getting any return phone calls/emails.  I was also told this has been an issue in with a few lodges in the area.
