I keep seeing this mentioned in threads. And with the living AIDS and other viruses are a very real threat........but is it really a problem with Zombies?

Wouldn't the viruses such as AIDS and the others you are thinking off simply die off with being someone being undead? The heart no longer pumps which helps the circulatory system function so the blood no longer flows through the body.

I wouldn't mess with the coagulated blood anyway without some kind of protection...especially from the solanum(sp?)

Call me cynical, but seems to me that  it really doesn't seem to matter that much whether or not you also got AIDS from the same bite that turned you into a zombie.

Or have I missed the point here?

Too true...I wasn't thinking that way. Even if you're exposed to the blood of a Zombie...you may have something else in it, but it doesn't matter much. You'll turn into a Zombie before you get sick from whatever else is in it's blood.
