| I liked the opener of season 2 I try not to over analyze things to much. I like the Daryl character to, he scored major points with me when he came out of the CDC with that ax last season. I think they are trying to show small glimpses of his soft side though. |

I think Shane would have been better served to leave Otis outside and make a distraction for him to assist in his escape. No issues with big people but rule #1 is CARDIO. I was pretty surprised with how fast that female zombie was hauling ass at them. |

Who else was thinking a 22 pistol and a brick of 22lr would be nice about now when Shane and Heavy Six were trapped in that door way? One 550 value pack and 30 min would have ended that threat. These guys need to seriously rethink the weapons...

So what the Doc's a vet, and the nearest functioning Hospital is how far away From what I've seen thus far he knows what he's doing, and the whole group is 100% trying to save the kid .
Daryl is the man, just loved the way the black guy was bitching in his fever induced delirium and Daryl gets back and hears the he has problems and breaks out the meds , and the way he put the religion down. The big question is where is Sophie.

These guys need to seriously rethink the weapons... I thnk a nice pointy sword would have done the same think in those close quarters.. I disagree completely. In 'close quarters' you really don't have the room to swing the sword properly AND you'll quickly tire with many zombies to deal with. Swing, no. But stab at the head through the grate, and you'll get dozens. A Roman Gladius, with it's short length and pointy tip would work well. It is a short made expressly to stab deep without much space to work with. http://i53.tinypic.com/nn8ly9.jpg I can dig the use of the gladius I just think I would want to come up with something that didnt resemble playing "whack a mole the zombie version" by poking that think through the holes in the fence. That 30 minutes there could be spent looking for a way out or more secure stronghold until I could think of something better. But the 30mins used to kill the zombies and walk out would be better than looking for another way to get trapped by the same zombies. This is of course my opinion, also the black guy in my opinion is infected, shoot him now or die later, remember it all started with a fever in the first place. And where the f@#$ is Sophie. |

I noticed on the Friday's rerun of the WD episode there are "storynotes" with facts, trivia, and production notes.
Some find it annoying but after I watch the first run on Sunday I like the rewatching with the "notes". I like watching AMC movies with these "notes"- it like the old pop up videos on VH1 but for movies. Dave |
