Sunday morning I was on my way to the GF's house to get her for church. It was about 845 am and I hit some fog half way out of town. It got thicker as I went towards town. My mind went immediately to a THE MIST like story and when I topped the rather large hill, I could see that the town was engulfed in a cloud like thingy.

Now there is a railroad track that runs through town and I know for a fact that they have had derailment outside of town and the last one had some toxic gases in tanks.  If you don't think your mind can run away with you at the lest little thing .......... it can and if I could fashion it into a story it would be a hell of a great start.

I had to drive to Fresno Calif. to pickup my Mother-in-law once and ran into the world famous Tule Fog. The crap is incredible. I pulled over onto a wide spot on one of the roads to call her for directions and realized I stopped in a four-way intersection. It even had a flashing yellow warning light overhead I couldn't see until I stuck my head out the window. Talk about creepy, from ten feet away you couldn't see the car. I parked for awhile. Yeah, you get some strange stuff going through your head.

I still get those thoughts about Shadow People at night. I will see something move out the corner of my eye and look over real quick.

It is amazing the house don't look like swiss cheese at times. lol

I know that feeling.  Something looks odd.  It could be nothing, but it could be something much, much more sinister...

At times like that, I always ask myself, "What would Karl Kochak do?"

That brings back memories of my misspent youth. One acid trip got a little out of hand , and we ended up gathering all the weapons/tools/kitchen knives/blunt objects into a pile and posting watch until morning so "they' couldn't ambush us.
Kids, just say no.

This was the original idea for Supernatural. 2 reporters traveling around checking out stuff but they thought it was too Kochak. So they made them brothers.

And that the remake series of The Nightstalker didn't do too well.
