if he doesnt get this potty outside thing down pretty quick hes going on the midnite train...

Stubborn as hell, ground too wet, grass too hi, will HOLD IT FOR DAYS and mess inthe house

come inside from 2 hours outside,,and pees

and KNOWS he isnt supposed to, acts like it as soon as he is called on it, he knows..

anyways, raised 5 kids and 6 dogs to adulthood, this one will make it as well,,,,,but

I know why OLD GUYS dont have kids,

we would probably sell them or eat them..

Had a Schnauzer for years we got from the pound –– wearing what sounds like the same coat.  Must have shopped in the same store?

Most of 'em get it eventually.  The street rats have a little harder time adjusting to politely keeping their business outside, but will eventually give in and do the right thing.  Hang in there!

I had a female dog growing up that looked alot like him but she was gray. Also a stray that we took in. Great dog. Lived 21 years. It was a sad sad day when she died

We had a stray we named Steve. We tried to make him and indoor dog. But he ate the molding around the door and front window. Steve would come inside when it was cold and sleep most of the night. If he needed to wake one of us up to go outside, he would lick or chew on our toes till we got up. He did earn his keep when the toilet tank busted.

Then we didn't see him for a few weeks and someone told us that the pound picked him up. So, by the time we had heard about it, there wasn't anything we could do. Because we don't know which dog pound picked him up. He was a sweet dog. i wish he would have let us train him to be an indoor dog. But, what can ya do.

Your new baby looks very sweet.

do a search on "microchip causing cancer in dogs" before you make that decision.

Why would we microchip a stray dog?

I've heard they cause cancer in your pets, especially full bred dogs.
