I've got two that came with the wife and they shed like crazy. Is there anything to make it stop?

Fur factories, iirc. Double coats are not fun.
Some on here have recommended The Furminator |

As a Corgi owner, I would recommend a good vacuum cleaner. would the vacuum cleaner choke trying to suck up a whole corgi?
A good vacuum sure helps.
Seriously, there really isn't much you can do with Corgis shedding. The best advice I can really give you is to give them a bi-weekly brushing, and vacuum your house at least once a week. |

I've got a beagle/corgi mutt.
She sheds like a bastard. I second the vote for a good vacuum. Get a cordless 18V Black and Decker vacuum so you're not dragging out the big vac all the time. I've got undercoat brushes...they do nothing. Baths? Momma (the mutt) laughs at the thought. Yeah, you're pretty much screwed. |

If I was only vacuuming once a week I'd be a very happy camper. More like every other day. I love the dogs but my allergies are killing me. Get used to it or hire a maid. 2 dogs (sometimes 3) , 2 cats... we vacuum every day. You might see if there's market out there for doghair mittens/coats/etc. Worth the shot...I've certainly thought about it. |
