Sort of a musky odor. She's a long hair silky cat, sort of ornery when she doesn't get her way, and I frankly dread trying to bathe her.
Many online sources say that she doesn't need to be bathed. What saith the Hive? |

Easiest cat bath ever clean toilet well, put a table spoon of pet soap in toilet. scruff cat toss in toilet flush a few times open toilet and don't be between toilet and door. clean kitty! I remember reading that online somewhere. |

There is a product for cats similar to a big baby wipe, for cleaning their coat. I've not used them though. I do have and use a spray shampoo conditioner made by the Furminator company. Spray the coat and brush or comb the cat until dry, or nearly so. It smells good.

She LOVES being brushed, at least on her back and sides, and I'm acclimating her to brushing her tummy and chin. So I've got that going for me. |
