Glad to head he's doing well! It surprises me how much I hate spending time away from home bc I'm not with my dog and I know all he's doing is sitting there waiting for dad...

My cat was born with cataracts, bad enough that no dilation even allows the retina to be visible. She gets around just fine although she does end up using her claws a little more since she can't be absolutely sure she has sure footing. She  likes to chase bugs but because she does it all with sound she's typically 1 second or two late with her pounces.

My sister's shiba lost both her eyes to glaucoma, but because it happened so late in life she hasn't really bounced back and instead finds her way by bumping into things.
