Had to take him to be put down.

He's had Canine Epilepsy for over a year, cluster seizures. Been dealing with it with meds.

Tonight when I was in the shower he started have seizures non-stop.

Knew this day would come but it still SUCKS.
Got a little dusty for awhile when we were burying him in the backyard under a big Oak tree.

My Golden has seizures.  Did your pup begin having cluster seizures as soon as he started seizing?  My dogs seizures last 3 or 4 minutes and they scare me to death.   I hope they never change to clusters.

I know my time is coming.  That's the penalty we all pay if we choose to own a dog.  Of course, it is worth it.  They give us so much love and companionship.

I am very sorry about your pup.

How long would a cluster last?

Cluster Seizure definition: Two
or more seizures occurring over a brief period of time
                                  (minutes to
hours) but with the patient regaining consciousness
                                  between the seizures.
My Merlin would go seizure free for two to sometimes five weeks. He would have random seizures
that would sometimes build up to the clusters. He may have one seizure say on Monday then one or two on Wednesday,
then five or six maybe more on Thursday and Friday. This was after we put him on Potassium Bromide along with
the Phenobarbital.
Before the Potassium Bromide he would have several seizures an hour until he was almost unconscious.
It would take a week or more for him to recover from these. He had two rounds like this before we started him on the Potassium Bromide.
that really helped with the frequency and severity of the clusters. But in the end it was a severe cluster (status epilepticus) that killed him.
Google canine epilepsy. There is a ton of info on the web.
If you haven't taken you dog to the vet for this, do it soon.

ETA: Keep a log of your dogs seizures for when you take him to the vet. It will help the vet decide if he needs to be on Phenobarbital.

May even want to video one with you cell phone to show the vet.
