I have a goldfish that's been around for like 10 years, but recently started swimming upside or just laying around on it's side. From what I read it has something to do with an air bladder being the problem. The question is, how long should I wait to see if it fixes itself, or should I just put it out of it's misery? |

Could be weakening of the swim bladder due to infection, poisoning or, impacted eggs. The condition is rarely life threatening, but can be very uncomfortable for you and the fish. Look in HERE for remedies. |

probably changed too much water too rapidly or did not give the new water time to dump the chlorine.. assuming you used tap water.. |
