I sometimes let our cat into the garage each morning.  Yesterday as I let her out she ran out like she always does.  30 minutes later when I go to let her back in, she was limping and her right front paw is injured apparently.  I didn't hear any sort of noise because my first thought was maybe something fell on her paw.  Last night I gently felt around thinking maybe something sharp got stuck, but didn't feel anything.  I can double-check again tonight.  My wife has a suspicion maybe she was bit, possibly by a spider or something.  There are any numbers of what-if's we can throw out there.

I wanted to ask if there was a way I could feel her paw to verify it isn't broken.  I tried comparing a little last night but I'm no vet and couldn't really tell any difference.  This morning she is putting a little weight on it, not much, and she is still limping.  I'm just trying to come up with any kind of information or things to check before we decide to take her to the vet.  No one was in the garage when this incident occurred so I have no idea what really happened.

Keep and eye on her and if she doesn't improve in another day take her to the vets.,
