I will probably regret this, but anyway...
I have today off, payback for getting called in on Memorial Day. The state inspection on my everyday driver was out, the weather was perfect (80 and sunny at 8am), so I thought I'd drive to the garage, drop it off, then walk the three miles home. I have absolutely nothing on the calendar today except to get the kid from school between 3 and 5, and I have been running my ass off for the last few weeks. I took my 9 month old Boston Terrier, Maggie, with me for company. On the way back, the river was mostly empty except for a few guys fishing, so I thought it would be a good excuse for some wading. Maggie, as I discovered, is still getting used to water. I think she's baffled by it. Looking at the photo below, caption the thought bubble above her head.
