Thanks all. This will be the first time I have had to "fly" with a dog to get him home so this should be interesting. Any tips on that would be appreciated LOL! The woman unit will be taking a bunch of pics so I will add them when we get to a PC. He will look a little different as his ears will be cropped and he will be over 20lbs |

Quoted: Wow, that dog is looking good. I really wish my dog's ears were cropped. We contemplated which way to go but after looking at so many pictures and visiting several Cane's we decided to go with the cropping. Our Lab has floppy ears and has ear infections from time to time since they get wet or get goo in there. His ears cannot dry out or "breathe". The cropping will help Max. Thanks for the compliment. |

Quoted: How much do you anticipate him weighing when full grown? Our Neo is about 115lbs. last we checked and that is fine with me. If you keep posting pics of your Corso up I may have to get one. His dad is 130lbs but the bitch was smaller so we are not really sure. So far he looks to be on schedule for 120lbs according to his weight gain so far. I have some valuable breeder information if you are serious about buying one. |

That will be great if he gets up to that size. It will be some time before I am ready for another dog, but I will let you know when it is time. I think I need to consider a Corso at least. This dog's drool is crazy in the summer... |

Quoted: you socializing him with other animals yet? my corso is 22 months old and she loves pretty much any animal out there but she plays ROUGH and some people at the dog park freak out when they first see her but once she gets to know the people she turns into a wiggle butt. Great social dog but will defend herself. Our dog plays with a pug and a jack russell that are neighbors of ours. They chase her around the yard. Our neighbors will just drop their dogs into our fenced in yard and their dogs get a ton of exercise. She is protective of all kids-and goes to the bus stop every morning and our neighbors love/trust her as well with their kids... But dont ever walk into our home without being intro'd first or she will go bezerk and do serious damage. She literally spins around and leaps up at the door trying to get at the people knocking on it...and my wife is trying to correct her on that I keep telling her its bred into them to protect their home. So she has gotten nowhere with it in 18 months hehe.her ears are not cropped here is a photo of her playing rough with her fav playmate-a male box/lab who is about 60lbs. Our dog is 94 lb and she loves to wrestle with other dogs. http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m296/raizer_02/dax-1.jpg Yes absolutely. He is with our 5 yr old Lab all day, we take him for walks at a couple local parks (dogs there) and he is getting some Mommy training (I mean puppy training) every Saturday which has a mixture of dogs. He is very alert to not only his surroundings but our home (us) as well and is certainly not afraid of anything so far lol. We looked hard for a quality breeder that was concerned about their temperament and health and I think we did well. Your Corso looks to be attempting the old "Forearm Trip Gotcha Move" there. |

yah shes into the go low, push sideways move...she has a ball playing rough
thats a great crate you got-same size as ours. We never put our dog in the crate because she was house trained in 2-3 weeks and never tears anything up when we leave for work for the day. Only used it for discipline. And she sleeps at the foot of our second floor stairs and over watches the front door. So the crate and its expensive bed has gone unused until a few weeks ago. I always left the front door of the crate open and I recently placed it in our spare living room, near an AC vent ..the weather started getting hot as hell here in N.VA and whata ya know...the dog is now in the crate all the time, with the door open, passed out getting the cool air from the AC. |

Quoted: 6 Months today Max is 58 pounds, has all of his shots and is chipped. He has been making many friends on our walks, at the lake and at Home Depot. He has claimed our home as his "ground" lol by growling and barking at anything that gets too close. Very swerious! http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii138/Firebird69/DSCN2376.jpg?t=1280636376 He looks awesome. I can't get over how great his head looks with those cropped ears every time I see a new pic of him. Racing stripes for dogs I say. |

It took awhile for him to grow into those ears and he has a ways to go. He has "racing stripes" on his right side. We may try for some action shots this week at the park. |
