Wayne was the first person I met at Gunstock and would regularly see him at local gunshows and DFW meals/get togethers. He was the single greatest ambassador ARFCOM ever had. RIP, sir.

I would have loved to have met him and attended one of the hun farm shoots 'back in the day'. Another example of the "good old days" gone by

I remember the funeral. Truly great Mason funeral. Perfectly recited. Befitting of Wayne. Wayne is gone. So is Grin and Baghdad Bob. Still post on their FB pages on their birthdays. Feel guilty over BaghdadBob. He had vented in IRC about the amount of pain he was in. Asked me about having his neck worked on to get some relief. Told him that I saw a lot of patients have that procedure done and, at least, reduced the pain. Then, to find out that he had thrown a clot from it that killed him. Supposedly been dead for a couple of days when someone went in to find him. Hearing that fucked me up for a good while. We had talked about me making a road trip up there when I retired to see him and his projects. He had said he was going to move to Texas once he finished up. Talked about him coming to my farm to pig hunt. But he is fucking dead from me recommending that surgery. Fuck. Talked with my cousin, Milton, and set up where he'd have a place to stay on the farm after he retired. Just to get him out of OKC. They found him in his truck after he had passed away.
