Funny story. (Well, actually kinda pissed me off at the time) I have been a reloader for many years. When John first got started good, he posted on HTF about wanting to chrono some rounds he made up. So, he came out to my home range. After a stern instruction period about how to shoot thru the Beta chrono, he proceeded to shoot the thing. He promptly packed up and left. I discovered the hit later when putting stuff away. Ended up being a very slight hit that didn't affect the way the Beta read I IMd him and he basically ghosted me. We didn't speak often before that nor much after that, but a while later(like a year or more), he admitted it and said he was sorry. I just laughed about it and told him I was never really mad at him for shooting it. It just ended up being the chrono I would lend out. Ponti, you were an interesting fella that had some tough breaks. Thank you for the interesting quips and I'm sorry you thought I'd be mad over the chrono. Rest well, friend |
