Anyone else play seven strig guitars?

Not me.  I have enough problems figuring six strings out, add another one in there and I'd be totally fucked.

I don't need the extra string, but i do tune Bb, Eb, Ab, Db, Gb, B same as my bass

but if i wanted a 7 string I would get a schecter

I agree that if I wanted a lower tone, I would detune my 6-string.

But if I were to buy a seven string, it would be an Ibanez or an Ernie Ball Petrucci model.

When ESP was offering the LTD 7-String F body with the 24 fret neck, and Skull & Crossbone inlays, I couldn't resist.  I rarely played it, and ended up selling it to some dude in Germany for what I paid for it...

Wish I hadn't... it was a sweet guitar... would've been cooler with an EMG 707 and an 81-7...
