It's jamming pretty hard, yeah. I almost downloaded the Warchest set from iTunes, but I could buy it from Amazon.com and get the DVD too.

If you're new to Megadeth and are looking to experience the full Megadeth awesomeness, nothing beats the value of the Warchest.

3 Inches of Blood - The Goatriders Horde - Gotta love these guys.  I've seen 'em 4 or 5 times, and they always put on a pretty kickass show.  Crazy fuckin' Canucks!

Iron Maiden - Aces High - Hell yes.  I mean... stock footage of WWII air battles.  And metal. What else could one ask for?

"IM-PEND-DING DOOM! (Doom...Doom....)"
Ha...High on Fire is the most primal band I've heard in I dont know how long.  The way Matt Pike handles every 4th line to "To Cross the Bridge" makes my spine crook over and my exoskeleton grow even more. This album is so amazing. If I ever have to do battle with, like, axe-wielding dwarves or some shit - this will be my ipod record.

Fuck that...High on Fire makes me want to go into battle with a giant rock attached to the end of a stick!  "To Corss the Bridge" is also an amazing song.

For me, metal has to be brutal, raw, real, and unpolished.

That said, there is ample room for some slightly tongue-in-cheek stuff like The Sword, as long as there are lyrics about grinding the bones of your enemies to powder, etc. Call it Dungeon Master Metal, I dont care - it gets me hype.  And the riffs are EPIC! (If you're into the whole sludge/doom/stoner thing.)

Sucks for you, bro. I guess we all have our metal limitations = I personally cant stand ghetto metal or "nu metal" or whatever they try to call the stuff where dudes are rapping over distorted guitar riffs. Cant do much with the Queensryche / Dream Theater "prog metal" stuff either.

Raw, real, unpolished, brutal - sounds just like death metal - my favorite genre of music.

The single most underrated thrash band ever.

Believer - Stop The Madness

Believer - Sanity Obscure

Believer - Nonpoint

One of the few live performances where the band sounds exactly like the record.

Here is the first song they recorded
