Spent about 3.5 hours today at Sweetwater Sound today Checked out the studios and got to listen to one of the guitar players that played for Super Tramp during the Golden Years of the group laying down some tracks...wont say who area you need to stop by. I am blessed to only live about 50 miles from the place. It is a class act. |
| Never been there (or even close), but I've spent plenty of money there. Still owe them $1500, but it's on their 3-year, no-interest credit card deal, so I've been taking my time paying that debt off. They've been calling me lately, trying to drum up some more sales, but the little cutie pie sales gal (Katie Stockman I think) who I bought all of my stuff from over the past couple of years is no longer employed there, so I'm taking a break from acquiring more toys from them. |

Got a great deal (20% off) on a "demo" guitar from them a while back. They called me to make sure I was okay with it not having a case, then called me again after it arrived to ask if I liked it. I've heard lots of stories like that from people who have bought from them. They seem to take customer service pretty seriously. |

The Swampers are often hanging out... Love musical heritage! |
| I've never been to one of their stores, but I sold a Duel Rec to a guy and the rectifier tube ended up getting broken when it was shipped, so I told him instead of taking out a claim with Fedex or UPS (don't remember which one) I would just buy him a new one and get it shipped to him. Sweetwater had the best price, and since then I keep getting voicemails from them about sales and stuff they're having. I don't buy new guitars anymore, but if I do it'll probably be from them, because, if I remember right, they show actually pictures of the guitar you're buying, not just a stock picture of it. |

SW is gtg. They do, indeed, have photos of the actual guitars and you can pick which you want.
For those who may not know, always call if you’re looking to buy something. They can give you a better price over the phone than they can legally advertise. I’ve made a couple guitar purchases and they were more than $100 less than the advertised price. |
