I did application review and interview prep previously for another job I decided not to take, but I will definitely be getting their help in preparing for my legacy applications. |

I managed to get the restriction lifted in June. I've been cranking away. Volunteered at an OBAP ACE mentoring event in July. Volunteering at RTAG next week. 209 hours from upgrade.... And I've hit a snag. Wierd mole on my ear is melanoma. Surgery last week. Class 1 due in Oct. I'm off the schedule awaiting a Special Issuance. |

I volunteered at RTAG this weekend. It was nothing short of amazing. I made some new friends who will be friends for life. One guy, who I did some mentoring for, told me I was his favorite part of RTAG. I think my favorite part was giving mentorship. Everyone uses those professional services for the majors... I was just happy to help other RTAG volunteers and attendees find their FIRST airline job. I did meet with my target airlines and came away with a favorable impression of my progress. "Keep grinding. Upgrade in Feb!" Yesterday I got the text from my flight surgeon that his contact at the FAA has pre-cleared him to give me my special issuance in conjunction with my physical after we uploaded my medical documents. Edit: Class 1 received. Special Issuance enroute. |
