I can't open PDF files on my PS3, which is all I have for internet at home. What happened where?
Just find a real computer and look at the PDF. Not possible until Monday. Can I get some Cliff's Notes to tide me over until then? No, there are no Cliff's Notes. All this presents is an account of the upset and a factual finding of events, not a "why". You already know the narrative: the plane upset, the pilot tried to recover, the plane and pilot were subjected to high Gs, the plane fell apart and dove into the ground. Lots of pictures of the plane. |

The report has some better detail than the above Cliff's. Flutter led to the destruction of the trim tabs, which led to the 17G uncommanded pull up. That incapacitated the pilot. It's the shortened wings that allowed them to stay on the airplane. |
