Every time I tried to save toward a PPL something came up. Car repairs, house maintenance, life in general...
Then I thought I should go Sport Pilot because of the lower entry cost. Same stuff tapping resources, plus my elder daughter is planning a wedding for me to pay for. I'm about to say the heck with it and go ultralight just so I can get off the ground. |

Nothing wrong with Pt 103. You will be very limited in your speed and range but, you will be off the ground. Keep in mind that there are very few legal ultralights. While it's easy to fly a slightly overweight one around and not get caught, there's not a problem until there's a problem.
