Smoking some Astleys 66 while waiting on the armadillos to make their way into the yard. So I can ambush them. Pipe,bottle of water,marlin 45-70,and insomnia equals a good night.

Just smoked a bowl of Yorkshire 1oz from "The Briary" in Birmingham, AL...in my new pipe!
It's a Calabvest with a flat bottom. It looks cool, smokes well, and was only $35! I am working on getting it broken in slowly but surely now.

while out at the dog park today I smoke a cavendish blend call Savannah from tobaccotraderusa.com.
BTW you can get a free sample of this blend. info is in this thread I highly recommend it. Its a smooth smoke. |

Most of my bulk is Orlik, which is good, but not nearly up to the Murray's. Today, a little SG Skiff Mixture for me. |

| My reward to myself for putting an automated sprinkler system in the garden will be to pull out some Dunhill Nightcap. Its an English blend of Virginia, Latakia, and Perique that I picked up at Pauls Pipe Shop in Flint. I'm fairly sure it had been in there stock since the 60's or 70's because the more recent tin's of it don't taste anything like the older blend. |

Took 5 short bags of sample tobacco that had accumulated, mixed them together to make about 4 oz of a 'sampler' blend.
Smoked several bowls of it while watching the afternoon fade to dusk.
