Smoking some Astleys 66 while waiting on the armadillos to make their way into the yard. So I can ambush them. Pipe, bottle of water, marlin 45-70,and insomnia equals a good night.

Either way, both tasty choices. |

Either way, both tasty choices. I am under the belief that it is Murray's bulk. I got it from a tobacco shop in Charleston. They said the jar was years and years old and "just for decoration". I had to rehydrate it from so dry it would crumble to dust. |

Most of my bulk is Orlik, which is good, but not nearly up to the Murray's. Today, a little SG Skiff Mixture for me. |

This evening I smoked an old blend I got from back in college called mountain mist. It is another cavendish blend ( at least I think) it was kind of dried out. I will have to take a swing at trying to rehydrate it.

My reward to myself for putting an automated sprinkler system in the garden will be to pull out some Dunhill Nightcap. Its an English blend of Virginia, Latakia, and Perique that I picked up at Pauls Pipe Shop in Flint. I'm fairly sure it had been in there stock since the 60's or 70's because the more recent tin's of it don't taste anything like the older blend.
