relatively new to cigars, so far Macanudo Robusto's seem to do the trick for me. However after cruising around on here & drinking beer late one night I ended up with: 2 Rocky patel vintage 1990 2 Ghurka Anciet Warriors 1 Gurkha ancient age 8 Macanudo Madura Crystal 1 playboy double corona 2 onyx reserve (have had these, nothing special but still pretty good.) What the hell did I get, They all look good. Still trying to figure out what I like though. DO NOT LIKE any so far of the Don Kiki's that came w/ the new Humidor, seem like poor construction, not bad but no real taste, don't burn evenly. Tried to finish one last night & wouldn't stay lit, got hot, you name it. Nasty. How did I do w/ the above? |

I live 10 min from Famous, they have some good cigars for low $$$. Have you ever been to the show room? Jason

20 min due east of Allentown right on the PA/NJ border (thankfully on the free side). We have both Famous and CI right here in the valley for large cigar stores that also mail order. JS

I dunno, I had the rocky patel last night & it was very good. Had the Macanudo maduro crystal tonight & it was pretty damn good as well. The Playboy, we shall see. I've seen mixed reviews. I'm not a snob. I am new to Cigars but if they are like wine I can be as happy w/ a $200 bottle or a $12 box-o-wine. The Rocky was excellent, but I burnt my fingers on the Macanudo. |
