Alright, I'll attempt to make his as simple as possible-

After I seasoned my new humidor the analog hygrometer was reading extremely high. I filled the humidifier with the humidor's 50/50 solution and attempted to keep an close eye on it. After 1-2 weeks,  I  found a little mold inside the humidor above the humidifier underneath the tray. I took out all the cigars cleaned it thoroughly and let it air dry for about two weeks. I attempted to reseason it and the mold returned.

Now I don't have a humidifier inside the humidor, I only have a digital hygrometer along with the cigars. My readings have been good and consistent around 70-72 / 72-66%.  So my questions are - Should I attempt to reintroduce the humidifier inside the humidor or keep it the way it is? I live in a tropical island and the humidity here is ridiculous.  I have a lot of money wrapped up into my cigars because I'm currently stationed over seas and I buy them in large quantities. Any input would be great because I'm newbie at this and looking for a little help. Thanx in advance.

I think you ought to seriously consider making a cooledor and getting 65% beads. There is a thread on it.

My biggest worry if I were you is too much humidity.  I would consider lightly charging the beads with distilled water and rely on the beads to take humidity out of the enclosed cooler.

ETA:   Here you go.

Huimidity is dependant on LOTS of influences.

Your setup mat be perfect (and from you numbers I would say it is) for the humidor, the contents and the location/season you are in right now.
It may change as the weather does.
Your tropical environment requires no added moisture to you humi.

As for the mold...
It was way too wet and you harbored a nice little lab there.
It came right back because the spores went dormant until you reintroduced the moisture and then they bloomed!

At some point, you should alchol-wipe the inside of the humi....twice...and then reseason to close the pores in the wood opened by the alcohol.
Then, after seasoning, you should not see another re-growth unless you repeat the over-humidified state.

Make sure you calibrate the digital hygrometer...for you I would recommend twice a year.
It's easy and provides a great piece of mind.

For you, a cooler would only help if you can keep the temps in line....but really, the results you are seeing aint bad!
Keep on...
