Well my fiance and I have finally picked out our honeymoon location. Does anyone know if I will be able to pick up some good cigars there?
Thanks in advance.

See Elder's note about shopping in the DR thread and listen....do not buy from the guy with a cart on the beach or some stand/shop front.

If it has a glass top it is Honduran tobacco.

I went to Belize a few years ago.  I stayed near a small town called Hopkins Village.  I don't remember seeing any cigars there.  However, we stayed away from big cities.

The food in the local villages is amazing.  Some of the best I have ever had.   You have to try the local hot sauce callled Marie Sharp's.  Where we stayed it was on the tables like ketchup.   Since I tried it it is the only sauce that I use.

Lots of great rum around too.... And some of the best snorkeling and diving you can find anywhwere.    I don't remember cigars, but there are a lot of other things to keep you busy...

What part? I was on San Pedro fours ago and the local cigar supply was nil so I was glad I brought my own. I agree with Echo, stay far away from the guy selling off carts or stands, they're not going to be quality sticks. Take your own.

Thank you, I'll have to give it a try.

I'm not sure what part. I'll have to look into it.

Second the "take your own" motion.  You will see a lot of dog rockets dressed up to look like something nice, at prices that are not a steal.  You will much happier taking a few of your favorites with you.
