I bought a MOW Ruination #2 from CBID a couple of weeks ago.  I smoked it last night and had a hell of a time with it.  It didn't hold an ash at all, it kept wanting to burn unevenly and I couldn't keep it lit.  I don't really know what the deal was.  I don't ever have problems with an uneven burn or keeping a cigar lit.  It has been in my humidor with 65% heartfelt beads and the hygrometer reads 64%-66% most of the time so I can't make sense of why it would dry out.  Do bigger ring gauges need more humidity?  I did use a punch (I usually use a punch but I am planning to buy a xikar cutter this weekend) so I don't know if the punch was too small for the cigar or what (I usually stick with a 50 ring).  I am perplexed because a lot of you love these and while the flavor wasn't bad I had a hell of a time with it.  Any thoughts?

Sometimes this stuff happens when humans make the cigar.  I prefer a v cut in my MOW but will bust out the guillotine when I cann't find my v cutter

You're smoking a hand made product.  Fact of the matter is, you're going to get some that are plugged, rolled poorly, who knows.

I've yet to have a MOW with an issue in 4ish boxes and 1 bundle of 2nds.

I wait at least 2 months at 65% for my internet orders. Especially anything with a RG over 50, if I don't sit them that long I have a decent amount of burn issues.
