I am using a kitchen countertop to make a computer desk/work bench. The countertop is one piece with the backsplash. On the back of the backspash there is a 3/8" wide lip. Do I make my workbench 24" or 24-3/8" deep? If I make it 24" then that will mean the bench will not sit against the wall but the backspalsh would be touching the wall. I am going to put 3/4" plywood under the counter top. |
