I'm thinking of putting in some landscape edging at my house.  So far I only like the look of the Oldcastle retaining wall blocks, but I've only seen the ones at my local HD/Lowes.  Of course at near $2 each and two rows its going to get expensive fast.  I've thought about using landscape posts (oval shaped fence posts), but the wife unit wants something a little more rounded and less edgy.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

It depends upon the size of your project.  Check your local stone yards for bulk prices.  Ten years ago I bought a two ton (delivered) order of Austin Chop Stone which did my entire home.  For us the stone was cosmetic only.
