Anyone run this?

Looks a bit pricey, and maybe a little gimmicky, but I wanted to get some first-hand info before I decide to install or forgo one.

I have some of it in my garage and also in my workshop/oil-tank room in the new house. If installed correctly, it'll hold an amazing amount of weight.  In areas where I didn't feel like I should install a track, I simply screwed the attachments to the studs and they work beautifully (ie.: 2 bike hangers 8' off the floor in the garage - track would've been a waste there)

As always, YMMV. But we're happy with it.

Regards - Ed

ETA: Garage looks like shit and I'm sure someone with better organizational skills could do better, but:

The bottom track has a decent amount of weight on it: a pitching machine, tractor tire chains, lights, cable, sleds, bike rack, bandoleers of 30-'06 HXP from CMP, etc. . . Yeah, it's a 14' ceiling int there. The 12' fold-up ladder to the left was bought for the sole purpose of changing the bulbs in the garage ceiling fixtures

It's great.  If I had to do it over again I would of gotten the 7 foot strips vs two 4 foot strips

Cool; thanks for the pic, too.

In my case, I don't have a garage.  Just a carport, outside the fence and open to the street, so I can't store anything in/under there.

What I *do* have is a "large" (to me) storage building in my back yard.  The interior is unfinished, so I have access to every single stud.

It just seems like this system would lend itself well to my particular setup.

I bought the kit that came with 6 4-foot rails and a bunch of hangers/attachements from Amazon a while back for a fairly good price

It does hold a bunch of weight and really cleared up a bunch of floor space. I got all varieties of lawn tools, rakes chairs ladders and the like. Its nice because you can switch things around easier than if you nailed things to the wall.

My only grip is that the additional hangers cost like $10/each and some of the things in the kit was basically useless (i.e. the wheelbarrel hanger)
